Tour Details
We'll start by picking you up from your hotel at the scheduled time, then we'll kick off our Havana Contrasts Tour. After introductions, we'll hop into our vehicle and head to the first stop on our journey.
Our route begins with a drive through Regla, renowned as the most famous neighborhood on the opposite side of Havana Bay. Here, we'll delve into the city's industrial district and visit one of Cuba's most celebrated Catholic temples, the Nuestra Señora de Regla Church. Next, we'll explore the iconic Malecon, one of the city's vibrant streets.
Following this, we'll visit Havana's cultural hub, Vedado, which houses some of the city's finest theaters, cinemas, and hotels from the Republican era. We'll visit the gardens of the famous Hotel Nacional to enjoy a refreshing Cuban-style cocktail with sea views.
Continuing our journey, we'll stroll along 23rd Avenue, a street with colorful contrasts between old and new buildings. Our next stop is the lesser-known gem, the Havana Forest, rich in historical and contemporary references to Cuban art and religion.
Leaving Vedado behind, we'll reach Miramar, a neighborhood designed by Cuba's upper classes, characterized as the country's most affluent residential area. As we drive along Fifth Avenue, you'll notice the American influence in the architecture.
The final destination is Jaimanitas, famously known as Fusterlandia, transformed into an expansive open-air gallery by visual artist Fuster. This former fishing village showcases his artworks reminiscent of a famous Spanish architect, often referred to as Havana's Parque Güell.
Between 3 and 4 hours later, we'll conclude our journey, returning you to your hotel.
