Regla Culture & Religion Tour
After pickup from the Hotel Inglaterra, you will be taken to the Puerto de la Luz, where the Lanchita de Regla ferry awaits. Join locals for a 10-minute journey across the harbour to Regla.
Upon arrival, a two-minute walk from the dock will lead you to the Nuestra Señora de Regla Church. The church, dedicated to the Virgin of Regla, features a black Madonna and is significant in both the Catholic faith and the Yoruba religion, known as Santería in Cuba. You will also see many santera women offering palm reading and good luck rituals around the church.
Next, you will travel in a classic 1950s car to the Christ of Havana. Enjoy extraordinary views of the bay from the hilltop location.
The tour concludes with a return to your original departure point, lasting a total of 4.5 to 5.5 hours.
