Valle de Viñales 2-Day Excursion

If you're looking to connect with nature and escape the bustling city, leave La Habana behind and take a 2-day excursion to Valle de Viñales. See the most famous landscapes in western Cuba!

Day 1

We'll start this 2-day trip by picking you up at your accommodation in La Habana and making our way to Valle de Viñales, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999.

On our way, we'll pass various tobacco farms, as this valley is the best producer of tobacco on the island. Once we arrive in Viñales, we'll visit a tobacco factory to learn about the cultivation process and witness the traditional practice of rolling Cuban cigars.

Next, we'll stop at the Prehistoric Mural, one of the oldest open-air frescos, created on rock from the Jurassic period.

To end our first day, we'll enjoy a meal of typical Cuban flavors accompanied by traditional music. We’ll also explore Cueva del Indio, taking a short boat ride to a grotto.

After this full day, we'll drop you off at your hotel for the night to rest for the second day of exploring.

Day 2

On the second day, we'll start early with breakfast while watching the sunrise over Valle de Viñales.

For an adrenaline rush, we'll experience ziplining circuits, sliding down lines up to 400 meters (1312 feet).

We’ll then enjoy the stunning landscapes on horseback through the famous hills of Viñales and Valle del Silencio.

Afterward, we'll have more typical Cuban cuisine before heading back to La Habana, stopping at Mirador de los Jazmines for a final view.

We'll return you to your starting point in La Habana, with an estimated arrival time between 5 and 6 pm.

Lodging

The tour includes one night in a private home in Valle de Viñales.

Pickup

The excursion includes pickup from accommodation located in Playa and Vedado. If you are staying outside these areas, we'll contact you after booking to arrange an alternative meeting point.

We can also pick you up from private houses, but you must provide the address upon booking.
