Helsinki Private Tour
We'll meet at the scheduled time on Aleksanterinkatu Street to start our private tour of Helsinki. Being a private tour allows us to visit places that interest you and explore the city at your preferred pace. We can also take breaks for tea or coffee while walking around 4 miles (6 to 7 kilometres).
Our tour starts at Senate Square, showcasing Neoclassical architecture from the early 19th century, including the Helsinki Cathedral, the National Library of Finland, the Tori Quarters, and the City Museum. We may also visit City Hall and the Presidential Palace nearby.
Next, we will see the Uspenski Cathedral, reflecting the Russian influence on Finland's history. After admiring the cathedral, we'll proceed to the Allas Sea Pool, then to Market Square and Esplanadi Park, where we will visit Kappeli, a historical meeting point for many famous Finnish artists.
In Esplanadi, we can look at Runeberg's Statue before visiting the Swedish Theatre and Central Railway Station. After that, we head to the National Theatre of Finland, Oodi Central Library, and Amos Rex Modern Art Museum. We can also visit Kiasma, Parliament House, and the Chapel of Silence if desired.
After 3 hours of history and culture, we will finish the private tour at a central location of your choice in Helsinki. See you next time!
