Helsinki Walking Tour
We'll meet at 9 Aleksanterinkatu Street in Helsinki at 2 pm to start a walking tour of the must-see sights around this Nordic city. We will walk through the historic center, beginning at Senate Square, where the Palace of the Council of State and the Lutheran Cathedral are located. The nearby Uspenski Cathedral will also be visited.
The tour continues through Helsinki to the Market Square and Esplanade Park. We will follow the Helsinki Railway tracks to Kansalaistori, pausing at the Marshal Mannerheim equestrian statue.
After learning its history, we'll proceed to the Kamppi Chapel of Silence, a significant place for the locals. The guided tour will conclude at the Oodi Central Library.
Participants will also have the opportunity to taste local flavors with samples of traditional berry juice and sweet treats.
The tour will end at approximately 5 pm.
