Liesjarvi National Park Hike

Prepare for an adventurous day in Finland's countryside. Meeting time is set for 9 am at Mannerheiminaukio Street. We will travel approximately an hour and a half to Liesjärvi National Park.

Upon arrival, we will begin our trek through the lush forests of this natural wilderness. Participants may encounter wildlife typical of the Finnish taiga, including foxes, hares, and moose.

At the halfway point, there will be a stop to light a fire and prepare a lunch of salmon and vegetable soup, accompanied by red fruit cake for dessert and coffee or tea. In colder months, meals will be served in a shelter.

We will conclude the hike by returning to the bus and driving back to the starting point, finishing the trip at 4 pm.
