Liesjarvi National Park Hike
Prepare for a day of adventure in Finland's countryside. We will meet at 9 am on Mannerheiminaukio Street and head to Liesjärvi National Park, approximately an hour and a half away.
Upon arrival, we will start our trek through the lush forests of this natural wilderness. We may encounter wildlife such as foxes, hares, and moose along the way.
At the halfway point, we will stop to light a fire and prepare a lunch that includes salmon, vegetable soup, red fruit cake for dessert, and coffee or tea. In colder months, we will eat in a sheltered area.
We will conclude our hike by walking back to the bus, returning to the starting point by 4 pm.
