On our day trip to Santorini from Heraklion, we'll explore one of Greece's volcanic islands, visiting Oia and Fira.

At the designated time, we'll meet at your chosen pickup point in Crete or directly at the port of Heraklion. After gathering, we'll board a boat to the port of Athinios on Santorini.

After a 2.5-hour crossing of the Aegean Sea, we'll arrive at Santorini. Once disembarked, a bus will take us for a tour, starting with Oia, where you'll have about two hours of free time to explore its streets and iconic white houses with blue roofs.

Next, we'll visit Fira, where you'll have 1.5 hours to stroll and experience local gastronomy. An optional short excursion to the volcano of Nea Kameni is available, lasting 1.5 hours, which will reduce your time in Fira to 20 minutes.

In the afternoon, we'll return to the boat for the journey back to Crete, ending the excursion in the port of Heraklion after 12 hours. If you selected the pickup option, a transfer back to your hotel will be provided.

Order of the Itinerary

Note that on busy days, the order of the itinerary may vary, with buses possibly stopping first at Fira.

There are no pickups from hotels in Heraklion. If staying in the capital, select the tour without pickup.
