Embark on a day excursion to Santorini from Heraklion, where you will have the chance to discover one of Greece's stunning volcanic islands. This memorable experience includes visits to both Oia and Fira.

Santorini Day Trip

At the scheduled time, we will gather at your selected pickup location in Crete and transport you to the departure dock. Alternatively, you can meet us directly at the port of Heraklion. Once everyone is present, we will board a boat destined for the port of Athinios, located on the island of Santorini.

After approximately 2.5 hours crossing the Aegean Sea, we will arrive at this remarkable volcanic island, recognized as one of Greece's most sought-after spots. Let’s begin our exploration!

Upon disembarking, a bus will be waiting to take us around the island while our guide shares important insights. Our first destination will be Oia, where you’ll enjoy around 1.5 hours of leisure time. This village is among the most iconic in Santorini, featuring charming white buildings with blue domes, a true representation of Greek beauty!

Following our visit to Oia, we will head to Fira, the island's capital. You will have 1.5 hours to wander through its lively streets and savor delicious local cuisine. For those interested, there is also an optional short excursion to the Nea Kameni volcano, lasting 1.5 hours. This choice will reduce your time in Fira to 20 minutes.

As the afternoon approaches, we will reconvene at the boat for our return trip from Santorini to Crete. Our full day of discovery will culminate at the port of Heraklion, following approximately 12 hours of adventure. If you selected the pickup service, we will take you back to your accommodation once we reach the Cretan capital's pier.

Be aware that on days with heavier traffic, the itinerary order may change, and we might visit Fira first.

Tour Options

During your booking, you can select from the following options:

Tour with pickup: This option includes transfer from designated hotels near Heraklion, such as Sissi, Malia, Stalis, Hersonissos, Analipsi, Anissaras, Gouves, Gournes, Kokkini Chani, Karteros, Ammoudara Beach, Agia Pelagia, and Lygaria. Pickup times typically range from 5:45 am to 7 am, depending on your location. We will reach out to confirm the exact pickup time.Tour without pickup: If you choose this option, we will meet at the specified time at the port of Heraklion.

Kindly note that there are no pickups from hotels within Heraklion. Therefore, if you are residing in the capital city of Crete, opting for the tour without pickup is essential.
