Incredible wildlife and paradise beaches await on this day trip to San Carlos from Hermosillo. Enjoy a full day of adventure and relaxation on the Mexican coast!

San Carlos Day Trip

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Hermosillo and head to San Carlos, a notable tourist destination. This area offers spectacular sea views.

We'll arrive at a pearl farm on the Sea of Cortez, where we'll learn about the significance of pearls in Sonora and the oyster processing involved in their production.

In San Carlos, we’ll visit the Estero del Soldado wetland, a protected area that shelters species such as coyote, white-tailed deer, wild boar, and desert fox. Here we’ll acquire knowledge about native species and enjoy a 1-hour kayak tour of the lagoon to observe mangroves and birds.

Next, we’ll proceed to the San Carlos viewpoint, known for its ocean views recognized by National Geographic magazine. This location provides an opportunity to capture photos of the Sea of Cortez and admire Mount Tetakawi.

After the views, you will have free time to relax at the beach of Piedras Pintas. This is an ideal moment to enjoy a picnic.

We'll then board a yacht for a coastal sail to appreciate the town’s skyline and the Sonoran desert landscape.

We will return to Hermosillo, arriving at your hotel 10 hours after pickup.
