Vía Verde de la Plata Bike Tour

Embark on a scenic bike tour through the mountains of Castilla y León and Extremadura, following the historic Vía Verde de la Plata.

Tour Highlights

We'll meet at Avenida de la Constitución in Hervás, located in the Ambroz Valley in Cáceres. Then, we'll proceed to the starting point in upper Béjar, Salamanca, where we will provide the necessary equipment and instructions for the bike tour along the Vía Verde de la Plata.

The tour will cover the striking landscapes of the Sierra de Béjar mountains and lush forests, following the path of a 19th-century railway that once connected Plasencia and Astorga by train.

Over 3 hours, we'll pedal through the Ambroz Valley, passing notable towns like Béjar and Baños de Montemayor. Finally, we'll return to Hervás, where we'll return the bikes and conclude the tour.

Bike Options

When booking, choose between a mountain bike or an electric bike for the tour. For families, a tricycle-style bike with a cart for one or two children is available for rent.
