- 2 Bewertungen
Experience an exhilarating bike adventure through the landscapes of Castilla y León and Extremadura as you traverse the historic Vía Verde de la Plata, a former railway corridor!
Tour Highlights
Our journey begins at a predetermined time at Avenida de la Constitución in Hervás, nestled in the picturesque Ambroz Valley of Cáceres.
We will travel towards the initial point of the ride, situated in the higher region of Béjar, located in Salamanca. Here, we'll equip ourselves with everything needed and go over the essentials for the biking experience along the Vía Verde de la Plata.
As we embark on our adventure, we will glide through the stunning surroundings of the Sierra de Béjar mountains and lush green forests. This route uniquely follows a 19th-century railway trail, the Vía Verde de la Plata, which historically linked Plasencia and Astorga by train.
During approximately three hours of cycling, we will immerse ourselves in the remarkable views of the Ambroz Valley, passing through key locations such as Béjar and Baños de Montemayor.
Eventually, we will return to our starting location in Hervás, where we will hand in the bicycles and say our goodbyes. Until our next adventure!
