Samana Day Tour by Plane

Do you want to fly over the Samana peninsula from Punta Cana? With this tour, you'll take a plane over the Dominican Republic, enjoy traditional food and ride a horse.

Samana Day Tour by Plane

After picking you up from your hotel at 7:30 am, we'll go to Punta Cana airport. Enjoy the 40 minutes in the air to Samana, with views of the Dominican Republic as you try an aperitif.

We'll land at Arroyo Barril airport and go to a Batey, known as a 'sugar worker's town', where we’ll learn about the lives of the farming population and visit a traditional house to try Dominican coffee and chocolate.

Next, we'll ride a horse for half an hour through the jungle around Samana to Limon Waterfall, a 52-metre attraction. You will have two and a half hours of free time to wander or swim in the waterfall.

At 12:30 pm, we return to the ranch for a buffet-style meal. We then go to Samana Bay for a speedboat cruise around Cayo Levantado.

After the boat tour, we'll return to Arroyo Barril airport to fly back to Punta Cana at 4:30 pm. The tour ends with drop-off at your hotel at 6 pm.

Important Information

From 1st January to 31st March, the itinerary will change due to whale season. On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, we will see humpback whales after landing, then ride to Limon Waterfall, followed by lunch and departure back to Punta Cana arriving at 6 pm.

On Wednesdays, we will visit the speedboat cruise around Cayo Levantado instead of Limon Waterfall after viewing the whales.

Pick up at Bayahibe and Uvero Alto

This Samana day tour by plane includes pick up in the Bavaro and Punta Cana areas. If you are staying elsewhere, proceed to Punta Cana airport for 7 am or pay a supplement on the day of the activity.
