Guided Tour of Hiroshima
At 10 am, we'll meet next to Nishi Kamiyacho Station to explore how World War II came to an end in Japan.
First, we'll visit the Hiroshima Peace Museum to relive the tragic moments of modern history, including the atomic bombing of August 1945, and learn about the recovery of the people.
After the exhibition, we'll proceed to the Orizuru Tower, the city's iconic symbol. From the observation deck, we'll enjoy panoramic views of Hiroshima and the Peace Memorial Park, including the castle and the island of Miyajima.
Next, we'll pause for lunch, which includes a dish and a drink. Following lunch, we'll visit the Genbaku Dome, known as the Hiroshima Peace Monument, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our guide will provide insights about its historical significance.
We'll conclude the guided tour by returning to the starting point at 2:30 pm after a morning filled with history and reflection.
