Japanese Calligraphy Workshop

Japanese calligraphy is a form of artistic writing dating back to the 6th century. The workshop will take place at the Okeiko Japan Academy in Miyajima, located in a 300-year-old Zen temple. Participants will receive a bamboo brush and black ink, and choose a kanji from the provided options. You will learn to write your name in Japanese letters in a calm environment, mastering the kana calligraphy style to sign your work. The workshop will last approximately 30 minutes.

Rent a Kimono

Participants also have the option to rent a traditional Japanese kimono while attending the workshop. You will have 30 minutes before the class to choose your outfit and prepare.
