Stunning scenery, delicious oysters, cheese and beer and much more await on our Bruny Island Day Trip. We'll set off from Hobart and have an incredible day in this southern Tasmanian island.

Bruny Island Day Trip

At 7:45 am, we'll meet at Hobart Harbour and travel to the south of the island by bus. After a 30-minute drive, we'll arrive at Kettering Wharf where we'll take a 10-minute ferry ride to Bruny Island.

Upon arrival, we will embark on a bus tour of Bruny Island to explore its key scenic and gastronomic highlights. Our first stop will be at a local restaurant for a tasting of cheese and beer. We will continue to The Neck Lookout for views of the island.

Next, our tour takes us into the Mavista Rainforest for a walk to spot white kangaroos. We will then enjoy lunch at a restaurant overlooking Adventure Bay, including oysters and two glasses of wine, beer, cider, or juice.

Post-lunch, we visit the Bligh Museum to learn about Bruny's history, followed by a stop at the Two Tree Point observation deck.

We will then visit the HIBA Gardens and the Bruny Island Chocolate Company for cocoa-based treats. Additionally, we will stop at local landmarks to sample and purchase local honey and oysters.

We will conclude our tour at the pier in the north of the island and take the ferry back to Kettering. From Kettering, we will return to Hobart and drop you off at 6 pm.
