Stunning scenery, delicious oysters, cheese and beer and much more await on our Bruny Island Day Trip. We'll set off from Hobart and have an incredible day in this southern Tasmanian island.

Bruny Island Day Trip

At 7:45 am, we'll meet at Hobart Harbour and travel to the island's south by bus. After a 30-minute drive, we'll arrive at Kettering Wharf, where we will take a 10-minute ferry ride to Bruny Island.

Upon arrival, we'll begin a bus tour of Bruny Island, stopping at a local restaurant to taste cheese and beer. Next, we'll visit The Neck Lookout for scenic views.

The tour continues into the Mavista Rainforest, where we'll walk to see white kangaroos. We will then have lunch at a restaurant with views of Adventure Bay, including oysters and two glasses of wine, beer, cider, or juice.

After lunch, we'll visit the Bligh Museum to learn about Bruny's history, followed by a stop at the Two Tree Point observation deck.

Next, we will visit the HIBA Gardens and the Bruny Island Chocolate Company for cocoa treats. Additionally, there will be stops to sample and purchase local honey and oysters.

We will conclude the tour at the pier in the north of Bruny Island and take the ferry back to Kettering. A bus will return you to Hobart by 6 pm.
