Day Trip Overview

We will begin our journey by collecting you from your accommodation in Hobart's city center, where you will board a minibus destined for the lush Huon Valley, renowned for its vast apple orchards. This region is celebrated for producing one of Australia’s finest craft ciders.

Your adventure continues as we arrive at the Tahune Airwalk, a spectacular pathway that stretches along the Huon River. Spend a leisurely two hours exploring this breathtaking location at a pace that suits you, and enjoy the opportunity to grab a meal. Stroll amongst trees that have stood for over 2,500 years!

Next, we head to Hastings Caves, recognized as one of only two Dolomite caves in Australia. Delve into the fascinating geological background as we navigate through the extensive cave system. Here, you may also encounter local wildlife, including platypus, quolls, pademelons, and various bird species.

On our return journey to Hobart, we'll take a brief detour to a local cider producer, where you are welcome to partake in a tasting experience if desired. We will conclude our day after approximately 10 hours together, bidding farewell at our original meeting point.
