Huon Valley and Hastings Caves Day Trip

Stroll through the treetops of the Tahune Forest on this day trip to the Huon Valley. Plus, you'll dive deep into the earth by visiting Hastings Caves.

Day Trip Details

At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in the center of Hobart to board a minibus to the Huon Valley, known for its apple orchards and craft cider production.

We'll reach the Tahune Airwalk, a trail along the Huon River. You will have 2 hours to explore this site and enjoy a meal while strolling among trees over 2500 years old.

Next, we visit Hastings Caves, one of two Dolomite caves in Australia. You will explore the cave's vast interior and learn about its geological history, while also spotting native fauna, including platypus and pademelons.

Afterward, we will return to Hobart, with a stop at a local cider producer for a tasting if desired. The tour lasts a total of 10 hours.
