Huon Valley and Hastings Caves Day Trip

Stroll through the treetops of the Tahune Forest on this day trip to the Huon Valley. Plus, you'll visit the Hastings Caves.

Day Trip Details

We'll pick you up from your hotel in the center of Hobart to board a minibus to the Huon Valley, known for its apple orchards and craft ciders. Next, we'll reach the Tahune Airwalk, where you'll have 2 hours of free time to explore the site and grab a bite. You'll walk among trees that are over 2500 years old.

Then, we'll visit the Hastings Caves, one of two Dolomite caves in Australia, to learn about the geological history and spot native fauna such as platypus, quolls, and pademelons.

Afterward, we'll return to Hobart with a stop at a local cider producer for a tasting if desired. The tour lasts a total of 10 hours.
