Tour Details
We’ll pick you up from your hotel at the scheduled time and head to the Derwent Valley, observing local wildlife and landscapes, with the Derwent River as a backdrop.
During the journey, we’ll pass through New Norfolk and stop at a historic salmon hatchery to learn about Tasmania’s fishing traditions. A warm cup of tea will be provided before we continue to Mount Field National Park.
Upon arrival, we’ll explore the park through a series of walks and minibus rides, discovering its flora, including trees over 400 years old.
A key highlight is Russell Falls, Tasmania’s most photographed waterfall, where you’ll have an hour of free time for lunch.
After lunch, we’ll leave the park and start our return to Hobart, crossing the Bowen Bridge for a final view of the Derwent River.
