Beginning at Hobart Harbour, we will travel for an hour to reach Port Arthur. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a refreshing tea before proceeding to the harbor where we will board the boat for our adventure around Tasman Island.

Our journey starts as we glide past the isthmus of Eaglehawk Neck. While cruising along the scenic coastline of Tasman National Park, keep an eye out for cormorants and peregrine falcons soaring above. If luck is on our side and conditions are favorable, there’s a chance we might even spot dolphins!

Additionally, you will onlook the remarkable Totem Pole rock formations, the towering cliffs of Cape Pillar, and the thriving sea lion colony on Tasman Island. After a delightful 3-hour cruise, we will return to the port in Port Arthur.

Once we are back on shore, we’ll visit a local restaurant to enjoy a delicious lunch featuring traditional cuisine. Following the meal, you will have 3 hours of leisure time in Port Arthur to discover the town at your own pace.

Finally, we'll make our way back to Hobart Harbour by bus, concluding the day’s adventure 10 hours and 15 minutes after our initial pickup.

Boat trip + Devil Park

If you opt for this exciting add-on, the initial segment of your experience will remain unchanged. After lunch, you will be taken to Devil Park, where you can explore the zoo on your own and encounter the notable Tasmanian devils up close.

Following your visit to the zoo, we’ll return to Hobart Harbour.

Boat trip + Port Arthur Historic Site

After completing the exhilarating boat trip, enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant, followed by 3 hours of personal exploration at the Port Arthur Historic Site. With your entrance ticket, you will have the opportunity to independently tour the extensive grounds of this former British Empire prison complex.

At the conclusion of your visit, we will head back to the meeting point in Hobart.
