Set sail on an exciting adventure with our Tasman Island Boat Trip. You'll explore the south-eastern tip of Tasmania and admire dolphins, sea lions and towering cliffs in a National Park.
Tasman Island Boat Trip
Meet at Hobart Harbour for the scheduled departure. A 1-hour drive will take us to Port Arthur. There, enjoy tea before boarding the boat for the trip around Tasman Island.
We will cruise along the isthmus of Eaglehawk Neck within the Tasman National Park, observing cormorants and peregrine falcons. Weather permitting, dolphins may also be spotted.
Highlights include the Totem Pole rock formations, the cliffs of Cape Pillar, and the sea lion colony on Tasman Island. After a 3-hour cruise, we will return to Port Arthur.
After the cruise, enjoy a delicious lunch featuring a traditional dish. Following lunch, you will have 3 hours of free time in Port Arthur to explore the town.
We will return to Hobart Harbour by bus, arriving 10 hours 15 minutes after pickup.
Boat trip + Devil Park
This option includes the initial tour activities. After lunch, we will visit Devil Park to see the Tasmanian devils up close.
After the zoo visit, we will return to Hobart Harbour.
Boat trip + Port Arthur Historic Site
After the activities, enjoy lunch and then have 3 hours of free time at the Port Arthur Historic Site. You will have a ticket to explore the former British Empire prison complex.
After your visit, we will return to Hobart.
