Are you in Hobart and looking for an amazing day out? If so, this trip to Wineglass Bay and Freycinet National Park is the one for you!
Description
On the day of the activity, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Hobart. From Hobart, we will travel towards Wineglass Bay and Freycinet National Park on Tasmania's east coast. This area is known for its pink granite mountains, wildlife, and rugged coastline. We will stop at a Bakery for coffee or breakfast. Before reaching Wineglass Bay, we'll visit the Georgian town of Richmond and the oldest convict-constructed bridge in Australia, Richmond Bridge.
Next, we will head to Buckland to see the Church of John the Baptist, built by convicts in 1846 from local sandstone. We will continue towards the east coast, stopping in the village of Orford to enjoy views across Prosser Bay to Maria Island.
Proceeding to Freycinet National Park, we will spend around 4 hours there, including a 45-minute walk to the Wineglass Bay lookout. We may also take a walk down to Wineglass Bay Beach. Recommended stops for food include wineries and the Marine Farm for seafood, with a visit to Kate's Berry Farm for ice cream before returning to Hobart.
After 11 hours, we conclude the tour of Wineglass Bay and Freycinet National Park.
