Are you in Hobart and looking for an amazing day out? If so, this trip to Wineglass Bay and Freycinet National Park is the one for you!

Description

On the activity day, pickup will occur from your hotel in Hobart. The tour proceeds to Wineglass Bay and Freycinet National Park on Tasmania's east coast, known for its pink granite mountains, wildlife, and rugged coastline. You will stop at a Bakery for coffee or breakfast shortly after departure.

En route to Wineglass Bay, a stop will be made at the historic town of Richmond to view the Richmond Bridge, the oldest convict-constructed bridge still in use in Australia. Richmond is surrounded by natural beauty and wildlife.

The tour continues to Buckland to see the Church of John the Baptist , built by convicts in 1846 from local sandstone. Here, you will learn about its stunning stained glass windows.

Next, the tour heads towards the coast to the village of Orford, where you will visit Raspins Beach with views of Prosser Bay and Maria Island.

Upon arrival at Freycinet National Park, approximately 4 hours will be spent there, including a 45-minute walk to the Wineglass Bay lookout, where you will see various native animals. There is an option to walk down to Wineglass Bay Beach.

Dining options include local wineries and the Marine Farm for seafood. Before departing the park, a visit to Kate's Berry Farm for ice cream will occur.

After 11 hours, the tour concludes.
