Are you in Hobart and looking for an amazing day out? If so, this trip to Wineglass Bay and Freycinet National Park is the one for you!
Description
On the day of the activity, hotel pickup will be provided in Hobart. The journey leads to Wineglass Bay and Freycinet National Park on Tasmania's east coast. A stop will be made at a bakery for coffee or breakfast. Before reaching Wineglass Bay, we will visit the town of Richmond and the Richmond Bridge, the oldest convict-constructed bridge still in use in Australia. From there, we will travel to Buckland, home to the Church of John the Baptist, built by convicts in 1846.
The tour continues to the village of Orford, where we will visit Raspins Beach for views across Prosser Bay. Next, we will arrive at Freycinet National Park, spending about 4 hours there, which includes a 45-minute walk to the Wineglass Bay lookout. Species of native animals can be observed along the way. Additionally, visitors can choose to walk down to Wineglass Bay Beach. A stop for food at local wineries or the Marine Farm for seafood is suggested. Before returning to Hobart, we will visit Kate's Berry Farm for ice cream and treats.
After 11 hours, this tour of Wineglass Bay and Freycinet National Park concludes.
