Discover the vestiges of the ancient Champa dynasty on this trip to the My Son Sanctuary.

My Son Sanctuary Trip

We will pick you up from your hotel at the scheduled time and head by bus to the My Son complex in southern Vietnam. The one-hour journey will cross two mountain ranges to reach the valley housing this archaeological site built between the 4th and 14th centuries.

During the reign of the Champa kingdom, My Son Sanctuary was home to more than 70 temples and a large cemetery. Today, several religious buildings are nestled among dense vegetation. As we explore this area, you will learn about the Champa dynasty.

The only known facts about this kingdom are derived from the remains of constructions and monuments at this site. We will immerse ourselves in the ruins of this Hindu complex, learning why the My Son complex has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There will be a Champa dance and folklore show during the visit.

At noon, we will have lunch at My Son's restaurant, with options including noodles with chicken, shrimp, or beef. After lunch, enjoy a boat ride on the Thu Bon River. We will conclude the day with a return bus trip to the starting point in Hoi An.
