My Son Sanctuary Trip

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel before heading by bus to the ancient ruins of the My Son complex in southern Vietnam. During the one-hour journey, we'll cross two mountain ranges to reach the picturesque valley that houses this fascinating archaeological site built between the 4th and 14th centuries.

During the reign of the Champa kingdom, My Son Sanctuary was home to more than 70 temples and a large cemetery. Today you'll find several religious buildings among the dense green vegetation. As we stroll through what was the beating heart of this society, you'll discover more about the mysterious Champa dynasty.

The only known facts about this kingdom are taken from the remains of the constructions and monuments at this site. We'll immerse ourselves in the ruins of this Hindu complex and discover why the My Son complex has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Enjoy a Champa dance and folklore show!

At noon we'll head to My Son's restaurant for a lunch of noodles with chicken, shrimp, or beef. After lunch, we'll take a boat ride on the Thu Bon River. Finally, we'll return to the bus and head back to the starting point in Hoi An.

Pickup

The tour includes pickup from the hotels located in the center of Hoi An with road access. If your accommodation is outside this area, we'll pick you up at 7:45 am at the following meeting point in Hoi An: number 6 Tran Hung Dao Street (Post Office).
