Holguín Free Tour

On this free tour of Holguín, we'll delve into the City of Parks in Cuba, exploring a historical mural, a colonial museum and a church during our visit.

Description

At the appointed time, we'll meet at the Parque de las Flores Park. Holguín is referred to by Cubans as the City of Parks. We will begin our tour at the Orígenes mural, which features four centuries of Cuban history in bronze relief.

Next, we will head to Calixto García Park, the largest park in Holguín, and visit the La Periquera Museum, a colonial-style building with historical significance.

We will then visit the church of San José, acknowledged as one of the oldest basilicas in Cuba, located in its namesake park. Our next stop will be the Children's Park, home to various animals and birds in special facilities.

Afterwards, we will climb the 458 steps to the Loma de la Cruz (Hill of the Cross), with rest opportunities along the way. The summit offers one of the best panoramic views of Holguín.

We will conclude at an art gallery and finalize our tour at Marqueta Square after a duration of 2.5 hours.
