Waterfalls, craters, black sand... On this excursion to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, we'll travel by plane from Honolulu to discover how this Pacific archipelago was formed!

Hawaii Volcanoes National Park Tour

We will meet at the Honolulu airport and take a flight to the island of Hawaii to visit its volcanoes. The day begins with an optional 45-minute helicopter ride for aerial views of Hawaii's volcanic features. While some take the helicopter, others will tour Hilo Town, visiting Rainbow Falls, Banyan Drive, Liliuokalani Park & Gardens, the statue of King Kamehameha, and the black sand beach.

After regrouping, we'll have a picnic-style lunch at Millie’s Deli before heading to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. There, we'll visit the Visitors Center, see fumaroles, the Halema?uma?u crater, and the N?huku lava tube. Our final stop will be the ?Akaka Falls, which are surrounded by tropical vegetation.

We will conclude the day with a return flight to Honolulu, expected to arrive by 9 pm.
