Faial Island Half Day Tour

At the agreed time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Horta to start our tour of Faial Island. Are you ready to discover all that this paradise on the Azores has in store for you?

First destination of the day: the viewpoint of Nossa Senhora da Conceição. From this vantage point, we'll be able to admire some of the island's landmarks, such as Praia do Almoxarife, Horta, Marina, Monte Queimado and Monte da Guia.

We'll then continue to Caldeira, the most famous natural site on Faial Island. This crater, with a diameter of 2 kilometers and a depth of 400 meters, is completely covered by special vegetation: a laurel forest.

Our next stop will be the Ribeira das Cabras viewpoint, providing views of the Fajã da Praia do Norte and the Capelo Peninsula.

We'll then visit Capelinhos Volcano, where the landscape, houses, and fields were covered by volcanic ash from the eruptions of 1957 and 1958.

We'll finish this tour with coastal views from the viewpoint of Monte da Guia and return to your hotel in Horta at 2.30 pm.
