Snorkelling with Sharks on Faial Island

Face your fears and challenge nature by snorkelling with sharks on Faial Island. We'll sail from Horta to search for these marine creatures and swim in their natural habitat.

Activity Details

We will meet at the port of Horta at the specified time and embark on a boat in search of the sharks off the coast of Faial Island. We will approach a location known for its blue sharks and attempt to attract them with fish. While waiting for their appearance, you can get equipped with a mask and snorkel as we share interesting facts about blue sharks, including their migratory patterns, relationship with humans, weight, and size.

Once the blue sharks arrive, you will have the opportunity to swim and snorkel with them. It is important to follow the guide's instructions at all times. This activity lasts between 3 and 5 hours, after which we will return to the starting point.
