Pickup will occur at 7:30 am at your hotel in Hornopirén for transport to the Chaqueihua sector, the starting point of the hike.

Participants will undertake a 12-kilometer (7.5-mile) medium-difficulty hike in Hornopirén National Park, located in the Chilean region of Los Lagos. This protected area showcases notable landscapes of Chilean Patagonia.

The hike traverses southern Andean temperate forests, characterized by a rainy climate that promotes lush green vegetation. The itinerary includes breaks for observing local plants and wildlife, with provisions of an energy bar, a piece of fruit, and a hydrating sports drink for refreshment.

The hike will culminate at the scenic Pinto Concha Lake, surrounded by dense forests with Alerce trees and other native botanical species.

After completing the hike, the group will return to the trailhead and subsequently to the hotel in Hornopirén, with an estimated arrival time of 3:30 pm.
