Pulque Tasting

We'll meet at the selected time at Hotel Las Candelas in Huamantla to start this experience tasting the sweet nectar consumed by the Indigenous Peoples of Mexico. Pulque is a traditional Mexican beverage obtained from the fermentation of the maguey or agave plant, considered sacred in pre-colonial times. During the tasting, we'll learn about the history of pulque and the legends surrounding it, discussing its importance in Mexican culture.

Participants will sample both natural pulque and cured pulque, which is sweetened with honey or sugar. Various flavors are available, including oatmeal, tropical, and pine nut. The experience will conclude an hour and a half after departure.
