Huayllay National Sanctuary Tour

Description

This tour will take you to the Huayllay National Sanctuary, starting at Huamanmarca Square in Huancayo. Before reaching Huayllay, we'll visit the Chacamarca Historical Sanctuary to learn about the Junín Battle. Then, we'll explore Junín Villa and the Junín National Reserve, known for Junín Lake.

Along the way, we'll pass through towns like Huayre, Carhuamayo, Shelby, and Vicco before arriving at Huayllay National Sanctuary. This geological park is home to rocks shaped like humans and animals, as well as native fauna like alpacas and skunks.

After a walk through the sanctuary, you'll have free time to eat before heading to La Calera thermal baths for relaxation. The tour concludes back in Huancayo after 18 hours.
