Huiscapuquio, Corivinchos + Shutjo Canyon Day Trip

We'll pick you up at the Huamanmarca Plaza in Huancayo to kick off our day trip through some of the outstanding places in the Jauja province.

Our first stop will be at the Huiscapuquio Thermal Baths, where we'll provide about an hour of free time to enjoy its refreshing and medicinal waters, which offer benefits for the skin.

Next, we’ll approach the Pachacayo cattle ranch, near Shutjo Canyon, which showcases nature and impressive landscapes.

We’ll continue to Canchayllo, where we’ll visit the main square and church. Here, we’ll see the remnants of the Corivinchos archeological site and pass through its Raimondi puya forest. At the end of this visit, we’ll make a one-hour stop for lunch on your own.

Following the exploration of Canchayllo and the Raimondi Puya forest, we’ll take a one-hour break to enjoy lunch at local restaurants.

Finally, we’ll arrive at Shutjo Canyon, characterized by rock formations with walls reaching 70 meters high. You'll have time to take pictures and appreciate the view from the top before descending to see it from below.

Before returning to Huancayo, we’ll make a brief stop at a distillery to taste their tequila. After 11 hours, we’ll return to the starting point in Huancayo, concluding the day.
