Visit the Hacienda Cachigaga and admire views of the Tomayquichua Valley on our day trip from Huánuco. You will learn about the customs and traditions of the village of Tomayquichua.

Cachigaga & Tomayquichua Day Trip

At your chosen time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Huánuco. We will board our minibus and travel to Tomayquichua.

Upon arrival, we will see its wishing well, so consider your wish. We will also visit the Hermitage of María Causa de Nuestra Alegría, a place of prayer where miracles are remembered.

Next, we will travel to Hacienda Cachigaga. Here, we will learn how the trapiche, a mill for extracting juice from sugar canes, is used to make beverages. We will sample some of these products before visiting the House of María Micaela Villegas y Hurtado de Mendoza, known as "La Perricholi". We will discuss her remarkable life and events during our visit.

After a 4-hour day trip, we will return to your hotel in Huánuco.
