Visit the Hacienda Cachigaga and admire views of the Tomayquichua Valley on our day trip from Huánuco. You'll also learn about the customs and traditions of the village of Tomayquichua.

Cachigaga & Tomayquichua Day Trip

At your chosen time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Huánuco. We'll board our minibus and travel to the village of Tomayquichua.

Upon arrival, we'll see its wishing well, so consider what you would like to wish for. We will also visit the Hermitage of María Causa de Nuestra Alegría, a place of prayer known for recorded miracles.

Next, we'll travel to the Hacienda Cachigaga. Here, we'll learn how the trapiche, a mill for extracting juice from sugar canes, is used to create beverages. We'll sample some of these products and then visit the House of María Micaela Villegas y Hurtado de Mendoza, known as "La Perricholi," and discuss her remarkable life and events during our visit.

After a 4-hour day trip, we will return to your hotel in Huánuco.
