Cachigaga & Tomayquichua Day Trip

At your chosen time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Huánuco and board our minibus to travel to Tomayquichua. Upon arrival, we will see the famous wishing well and have the opportunity to make a wish. While in Tomayquichua, we will also visit the Hermitage of María Causa de Nuestra Alegría, a site of prayer associated with remembered miracles.

Next, we will travel to Hacienda Cachigaga. Here, we will learn how the trapiche, a mill that extracts juice from sugar canes, is used to produce various drinks. We will sample some of these products and then visit the House of María Micaela Villegas y Hurtado de Mendoza, known as "La Perricholi," whose remarkable life includes several unusual events.

After a 4-hour day trip, we will return to your hotel in Huánuco.
