Cachigaga & Tomayquichua Day Trip

At your chosen time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Huánuco and travel to the village of Tomayquichua.

Upon arrival, we will see the famous wishing well. While in Tomayquichua, we'll visit the Hermitage of María Causa de Nuestra Alegría, a site of prayer where notable miracles are remembered.

Next, we will head to Hacienda Cachigaga. Here, we will learn about the trapiche, a mill used to extract juice from sugar canes, and taste some of the products made from it. Our visit will also include the House of María Micaela Villegas y Hurtado de Mendoza, known as "La Perricholi," where we will discuss her remarkable life.

After a 4-hour day trip, we will return to your hotel in Huánuco.
