Cachigaga & Tomayquichua Day Trip

At your chosen time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Huánuco. We'll board our minibus and travel to Tomayquichua.

Upon arrival, we’ll see the famous wishing well. We will also visit the Hermitage of María Causa de Nuestra Alegría, a place of prayer remembering the miracles that have occurred here.

Next, we’ll travel to the Hacienda Cachigaga. At this rural farm, we will learn how the trapiche, a mill for extracting juice from sugar canes, is used to make drinks. We will try some of these products and then head to the House of María Micaela Villegas y Hurtado de Mendoza, known as "La Perricholi", where we will discuss her remarkable life.

After a 4-hour day trip, we'll return to your hotel in Huánuco.
