Private Lake Churup Hike

We will gather at 710 Calle Jirón 29 de Julio in Huaraz at 7 am, embarking on a three-hour journey to the picturesque village of Pitec, nestled in the breathtaking Huascaran National Park.

Upon arriving at the village, our adventure begins as we ascend various trails to reach our endpoint. The hike will take roughly four hours, guiding you along rugged paths while taking in views of the majestic Shaqsha and Cashan mountains, part of the Cordillera Blanca.

Once we arrive at Lake Churup, positioned at an altitude of 4,485 meters (14,700 feet), the striking Churup peak will come into view, showcasing its unique geological features. Here, you'll have leisure time to enjoy lunch amidst this Andean paradise.

Afterward, we will begin our descent through the gorge back to Pitec, where we'll hop into the vehicle for our return trip to Huaraz. We expect to arrive back at our meeting point between 4 and 5 pm.
