Private Lake Churup Hike
At 7 am we'll meet at 710 Calle Jirón 29 de Julio, in Huaraz and travel for three hours to the village of Pitec, in the heart of Huascaran National Park.
Upon arrival in the village, we'll start to climb through various trails to reach our destination. The ascent will take approximately four hours along rocky roads while appreciating the Shaqsha and Cashan mountains, part of the Cordillera Blanca.
As we reach Lake Churup, located at 4485 meters (14700 feet) of altitude, we'll see the notable Churup peak, characterized by its unique geology. Here, you'll have free time to eat lunch while enjoying the scenery.
We'll begin our descent until we return to Pitec, where we will get into the car to head back to Huaraz. The arrival at your meeting point is scheduled between 4 and 5 pm.
