Hyères Bay Cruise

The bay of Hyères offers magnificent views of the coast of Provence. With this boat trip, you can enjoy its beautiful landscapes at sunrise or sunset.

Tour options

When booking your boat trip in the bay of Hyères, you can choose between a sunrise or sunset cruise. Both activities last two hours and have an English and French-speaking captain:

Sunrise cruise

Upon departure from Hyères, you will witness the sunrise over the bay. The cruise heads towards the Îles d'Hyères and passes by the islands of Porquerolles, Port-Cros and Levant. Enjoy the dawn light over the archipelago and skirt the coasts of the bay of Badine and the Giens Peninsula while having a snack on board.

On the return, fisherman Gégé will demonstrate how to change a fishing net and discuss the different types of fresh fish in the area. Following the two-hour ride, there will be an opportunity to attend the morning fish auction at the fish market.

Schedule: runs Saturdays and Sundays, departing between 6:15 and 6:30 am.

Sunset cruise

The sunset cruise offers a peaceful experience as the last rays of the sun cast hues over the coast of Hyères. Enjoy the transition to night over the Giens Peninsula and bay of Almanarre, with views of the Tour Fondue and islands of Porquerolles, Petit and Grand Ribaud.

You will enjoy a selection of local products, including wine, anchovies, and tapenade. The cruise concludes with a return to the starting point.

Schedule: runs every day, departing between 6:30 and 7 pm.
