Hyères Bay Cruise

The bay of Hyères offers views of the coast of Provence. With this boat trip, you can enjoy its landscapes at sunrise or sunset.

Tour options

When booking your boat trip in the bay of Hyères, you can choose between a sunrise or sunset cruise. Both activities last two hours and have an English and French-speaking captain:

Sunrise cruise

Upon departure from Hyères, you will see the sunrise over the bay, cruising towards the Îles d'Hyères, passing the islands of Porquerolles, Port-Cros and Levant. You will enjoy the dawn light and skirt the coasts of the bay of Badine and the Giens Peninsula while having a snack on board.

On the return, fisherman Gégé will demonstrate how to change a fishing net and discuss the local types of fresh fish. After two hours, you'll return to Hyères, with the option to visit the morning fish auction at the market.

Schedule: runs Saturdays and Sundays, departing between 6:15 and 6:30 am.

Sunset cruise

This peaceful cruise allows you to see the sunset gradually tinge the coast of Hyères with orange and scarlet hues. You will witness night falling over the Giens Peninsula and the bay of Almanarre, as well as views of the Tour Fondue and the islands of Porquerolles, Petit and Grand Ribaud.

Enjoy a selection of local products including wine, anchovies, and tapenade during the cruise. You will return to the starting point after two hours.

Schedule: runs every day, departing between 6:30 and 7 pm.
