2-Day Folk Festival in Ibagué

Day 1

At 8 am we'll pick you up at the Combeima shopping center to begin this 2-day experience in the folk tradition in Ibagué. We'll start with a guided tour of this town, known as the Musical Capital of Colombia.

During the tour, you'll see many monuments dedicated to music and key buildings such as the Conservatory of Tolima. We'll have lunch at a local restaurant and then take a 4x4 vehicle around Ibagué to the Combeima Canyon, a notable natural site.

We'll visit the Los Sauces viewpoint for a panoramic view, enjoying a snack of aguapanela with cheese. The afternoon includes a tour of the center of Ibagué, and after dinner, we will experience the Ibagué nightlife.

Day 2

We'll wake up for breakfast at the hotel and quickly leave for the National Folklore Parade of Ibagué, showcasing regional dances, typical costumes, and music. Enjoy the show from the box with excellent views.

After the parade, we'll have lunch at a local restaurant before heading to Playa Hawaii, a recreational park with activities like kayaking, water bike rides, and swimming in natural pools.

Finally, we'll return to the pickup point around 5 pm.

Accommodation

The tour includes one night's accommodation in a hotel in Ibagué.
