Coello River Canyon Hiking and Rafting Tour

At the time of booking, you can choose between 2 tour options, both include pickup at 8 am and drop off at your hotel in Ibagué.

5-hour Tour

We will begin with a walk along a trail surrounded by vegetation, rivers, and waterfalls until reaching the Coello River. Here, we will embark on a 3-mile (5 km) descent through class II and III rapids.

You will navigate the rapids while taking in the surrounding mountainous landscape and may spot miners searching for gold along the riverbanks.

9-hour Tour with Lunch

This tour starts with a hike through the Coello River canyon, focusing on the area's biodiversity until we reach the river. We will then undertake a 10-mile (16 km) descent through class III rapids.

Throughout the descent, you will observe the lush landscapes. After rafting, we will hike to the waterfalls of El Oso, Chorro Blanco, and Paraíso, where time will be allocated for a refreshing swim.

A typical lunch will be provided, including a main course and a drink, followed by a visit to the Madremonte Cave to explore its enigmatic legend.
