Combeima Canyon & Casa Loma Hiking Tour

Meet at Carrera 6 at 9 am for a trip to the Combeima Canyon in the Parque Nacional de los Nevados. After a 20-minute drive, we arrive at the village of Pastales and begin the Piedra Alta trail. The hike includes an uphill walk of 3.7 kilometers (2.2 miles) followed by a downhill trek of 2.5 kilometers (1.5 miles). The route has medium intensity requirements.

During the hike, enjoy the landscapes of Combeima Canyon, streams, and gorges. At the halfway mark, we will reach Casa Loma, a rural estate offering views of Nevado del Tolima and wax palm forests in the Valle Escondido (Hidden Valley).

We will share local myths during the hike, including the legend of Ibamaca or Ibanasca, a princess of the Pijao tribe. At the end of the tour, a bus will transport you back to Ibagué, with an expected arrival time of 12 pm.
