El Salto Waterfall 2-day Private Hiking Tour

Day 1

At 6 am, we will meet at Carrera 4d in Ibagué and drive to Juntas in a 4x4. After a breakfast in Juntas, at 7:30 am, we'll begin our trek towards the Escuela El Salto. The trail will take us approximately six to eight hours through the Combeima canyon, allowing us to view the snow-capped summit of Tolima.

Midway, we will take a break for lunch, consisting of rice, meat, plantain, and lemonade. We will finally arrive at the rural inn of the El Salto School, where we will rest for the night.

Day 2

On the second day, we will have breakfast at the school's rural inn. Then, we will embark on a one-hour journey to the waterfall El Salto. After enjoying the waterfall, we'll return to the school and descend back to Juntas, which will take five to six hours. During this descent, we will pause for a hamburger and admire the Nevado del Tolima.

Afterward, we will take a jeep back to Ibagué, arriving around 5 pm.

Accommodation

The tour includes one night's accommodation at the rural inn of the El Salto School.
