El Salto Waterfall 4-day Private Hiking Tour
Day 1: Ibague - Finca Santa Clara
The trek begins at Carrera 4d in Ibagué. After a 40-minute drive in a 4x4, we'll start the hike towards the Santa Clara farm. The trail will take us through mountainous terrain, passing waterfalls and offering scenic viewpoints. We'll end the day at Finca Santa Clara for dinner and camping.
Day 2: Finca Santa Clara - Finca Meridiano
After breakfast, we'll embark on a five-hour hike to Finca Meridiano. Along the way, we'll enjoy views of the Nevado del Tolima and the San Romualdo river canyon. Dinner and camping at Finca Meridiano.
Day 3: Finca Meridiano - Finca El Salto
Starting with breakfast, we'll begin an eight-hour hike to Finca El Salto, passing through the San Romualdo river canyon. The highlight is reaching the breathtaking El Salto waterfall. At the rural inn of El Salto School, we'll enjoy a delicious lunch and rest.
Day 4: Finca El Salto - Ibagué
After breakfast, we'll head towards Juntas, enjoying the scenic landscape at the foot of the snow-capped volcano. Passing through the Combeima Canyon, we'll return to Ibagué, ending the tour at 5 pm. Accommodation includes 3 nights in rural inns.
