Excursion to the Lost City of Falan

We'll pick you up at 6 am at your hotel in Ibagué and set off north towards the Lost City of Falan in the Tolima jungle.

This location features ruins, freshwater waterfalls, and natural pools. Upon arrival, we will have breakfast before beginning our hike in the nature reserve where the Lost City is situated, leading to ruins of mines established by the Spaniards to extract gold and silver.

A guided tour will help us explore the remains of the Lost City of Falan and pose questions regarding its abandonment and the fate of the indigenous slaves.

At noon, we will break for a traditional lunch, featuring chupao falanense, made of rice, potatoes, yucca, plantain, egg, and meat, all wrapped in a leaf.

After lunch, there will be free time to bathe in the waterfalls and participate in optional activities such as zip-lining or rappelling.

Finally, we will return to Ibagué, dropping you off at your hotel by 8 pm.
