Excursion to the Lost City of Falan

We'll pick you up at 6 am at your hotel in Ibagué and set off north towards one of the attractions in the Tolima region: the Lost City of Falan.

Hidden in the Tolima jungle, this enclave is made up of ruins, waterfalls, and natural pools.

Upon arrival, we'll have breakfast and start our adventure on a trail in the nature reserve where the Lost City is located. This trail leads to ruins from the mines built by the Spaniards to extract gold and silver.

We'll take a guided tour of the remains of the Lost City of Falan as we explore the reasons for its abandonment and the fate of the indigenous slaves.

At noon, we'll take a break for a traditional lunch, featuring the chupao falanense, a dish of rice, potatoes, yucca, plantain, egg, and meat, wrapped in a leaf.

After lunch, we'll walk to the ravines of the Lost City, where you will have free time to bathe in the waterfalls and participate in optional activities such as zip-lining or rappelling.

Finally, we'll return to Ibagué, dropping you off at your hotel at 8 pm.
