With this hike to Secret Waterfall, we'll walk through canyons, streams, and the vegetation of the Andean jungle until we reach this hidden jewel on the Pastales trail.

Hiking to Secret Waterfall

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Ibagué at 7 am to head to the Pastales trail, located on the banks of the Combeima River.

Upon arrival, we'll take a trail that will lead us through the high Andean jungle and a canyon. While hiking, we might see the view of the Tolima snow-capped mountain, weather permitting.

On our route, we'll ascend slopes of almost 90 degrees of inclination to reach an altitude of 6,332 ft (1,930 meters). The intensity of the hike will be moderate and we'll cover a total distance of 3.7 miles (6 km).

Following the course of the Combeima River, we'll find a hidden treasure in the jungle: the Secret Waterfall. In this natural enclave, you'll have time for a refreshing swim after the hike. We'll also explore three other smaller waterfalls.

After enjoying a snack, we'll return to the bus to head back to Ibagué. We'll drop you off at your hotel around 12:30 pm.
