Ibagué Birdwatching Tour

Calling all bird lovers! During this tour, you can choose to visit the San Jorge Botanical Garden or Finca La Rivera and discover the beautiful fauna of these places. An exciting day in nature!

Options

When booking, you can choose between two different tours. Both start at Plaza de Bolívar in Ibagué:

Birdwatching at the Botanical Garden (11 hours)

After picking you up at 6:30 am, we'll head to the San Jorge Botanical Garden, home to more than 200 species of birds. The facilities, covering over 60 hectares, feature abundant vegetation.

We'll also enjoy a snack and a delicious lunch. The meal will include a meat dish with salad, rice, potatoes, and a beverage.

Birdwatching at Finca La Rivera (12.5 hours)

If you choose this option, we'll meet at 5:30 am and travel to the Combeima Canyon, part of the Los Nevados National Natural Park. The area provides beautiful mountain scenery as we start spotting local birds.

Next, we'll visit the Finca La Rivera, where we'll tour its grounds for approximately six hours and spot numerous birds. This includes a ride in its cable car to see Combeima Canyon from above!

After lunch, which will also include a meat dish and a beverage, we'll visit the Spectacled Bear reserve, also known as the Andean Bear.
