If you want to enjoy a day of total disconnection surrounded by nature and waterfalls, don't miss this hiking route to the La Plata waterfall in the Pastales Ecotourism Park!

La Plata Waterfall Hike

At 7 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Ibagué and head north to La Plata Ecotourism Park.

Upon arrival, we'll take a trail through the park. On our 4.5-mile (7.2 km) walk along the Combeima River, we'll pass by bridges, farms, and springs until we reach our destination: the La Plata waterfall.

This waterfall is the tallest in the Combeima Canyon, measuring 1,607 ft (490 meters). This location offers nature, fresh air, tranquility, and scenic views for a day of disconnection.

You will have free time to experience the waterfall and visit La Platica, a smaller waterfall nearby. Afterward, we’ll have a snack and then return to the park entrance.

The bus will be waiting to take us back to Ibagué, arriving at your hotel around 12:30 pm.
