Nevado del Tolima Private 4-day Hiking Route
Day 1: Ibagué - Finca Vancouver
Start at Carrera 4d in Ibagué at 4 am. Travel by 4x4 to La Punta in Palomar. Trek 10 km through Amberes valley to Finca Vancouver.
Day 2: Finca Vancouver - Arenales
Breakfast, then a 13 km hike with a 790 m climb. Encounter moorlands, sandy areas, and endemic species. Enjoy lunch and panoramic views at 4400 m. Reach Arenales campsite.
Day 3: Arenales - Cañon Hot Springs
Early start for a 12 km hike to Nevado del Tolima summit at over 5200 m. Admire surrounding peaks and valleys. Relax at Cañón Hot Springs campsite.
Day 4: Cañón Hot Springs - Ibagué
18 km descent to La Punta, passing through Palomar. Visit El Salto waterfall and enjoy lunch. Arrive in Ibagué at 7 pm.
