On this day trip to the Payandé Natural Reserve, we'll visit the Chicalá waterfalls, a popular natural area in Tolima.
Payandé Hiking Tour
At the designated time, we will pick you up at your hotel in Ibagué and proceed to the natural landscapes of Tolima.
In approximately one hour, we will arrive at this area of the Colombian jungle, where the Chicalá waterfalls await. This location features a set of seven waterfalls. We will access them via an easy 1-kilometre (0.62-mile) trail.
During the hike, you can enjoy the natural pools of Chicalá, where you may swim and relax. At noon, we will have lunch at the country hotel Chicalá with a typical Colombian meal.
After lunch, you will have the option to swim in the hotel’s pool or relax in the hammocks for the remainder of the experience.
Finally, we will return to the starting point, concluding this tour after a total of 7 hours.
