Prado Dam Boat Tour

Tour Description

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Ibagué at the specified time and drive to the municipality of Prado, Tolima. Here, you'll see the Prado Dam, also known as the inland sea of Colombia.

Upon arrival at the banks of the Prado River, the boat will be ready for us. During the trip, we'll explore this hydraulic engineering marvel, which spans 4,200 hectares (10,378 acres). Highlights include a visit to the Cascada del Amor waterfall and the Cueva del Mohán cave. The boat will also stop for a swim in the dam's waters, with optional jet ski rental available.

After the boat tour, we'll return to the harbour for a typical lunch, which includes a main course and a drink, all while enjoying panoramic views. Depending on weather conditions, we may engage in sport fishing or visit the waterfalls of the dam.

Finally, we'll head back to Ibagué and drop you off at your hotel 9 hours after pickup.
