Ballestas Islands, Tambo Colorado & Moron Lagoon Tour
At 6:30 am, pick up will be at your hotel in Ica, followed by road travel to the El Chaco dock in Paracas Bay.
A boat will take us to the Ballestas Islands for a panoramic tour, a refuge for various endemic species. We will observe colonies of sea lions and birds, including Humboldt penguins, waders, boobies, seagulls, and pelicans. We will pass the iconic Candelabro de Paracas, a geoglyph created around 2500 years ago.
After returning to Paracas, we will visit the archaeological site of Tambo Colorado, a significant Inca settlement with adobe structures. The tour will cover its three sectors and notable buildings like La Fortaleza.
Next, we will head to the lagoon of Morón in the district of Humay, recognized for its blue-green waters, providing free time for swimming, sandboarding, and lunch at local restaurants.
Finally, we will return to Ica, concluding the excursion in the Plaza de Armas between 6:30 pm and 7:30 pm.
