Huacachina Dune Buggy & Sandboarding Tour

Having been picked up from your hotel in Ica at the designated time, you'll be taken deep into the magnificent Huacachina desert, located just a few miles outside of the Peruvian city of Ica.

When we arrive, the guide will tell us about the history of the famous Huacachina Oasis before we set off on our buggy adventure through the desert. While your dune buggy bounces over the sand, you'll have the opportunity to photograph the captivating natural landscapes of the desert. As you reach the highest points of the dunes, formed by the movement of the winds, you'll be able to spot the peaks of the Peruvian Andes on the horizon.

After exploring the eastern part of the Peruvian Andes, we'll stop at a cluster of dunes to go sandboarding, one of the most popular activities in the desert! Surf down the golden dunes on a special board and soar across the sand as if you're flying... an adrenaline rush you'll never forget!

At the end of the sandboarding activity, we'll head back to the Huacachina lagoon across the beautiful Peruvian desert.

Finally, we'll drop you off at your hotel in Ica around 6:30 pm.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

This activity usually lasts 2 hours. However, the time of the activity may be reduced to 45 minutes or 1 hour on the following special dates:

Pickup

Only select the option "Tour with pickup" if you're staying in hotels located in the center of Ica, since pickup is not available for hotels outside of the center.

If you're staying elsewhere, you must select the option "Tour without pickup" and make your own way to the El Bamboo Hotel at the Huacachina Oasis for 3:45 pm. The option without pickup will finish at 6 pm.
