Watching the sunset, stars, and sunrise in the Huacachina oasis offers a unique experience with an overnight stay in the desert of Ica.

Night in the Ica Desert

Meeting at 5 pm at Huacachina, specifically on Angela Perotti Avenue, we will begin with an exciting buggy tour through the Ica desert. As the sun sets, the sky transforms with golden, red, and orange hues, providing a scenic backdrop. Multiple stops during the buggy tour enhance the experience of this natural spectacle.

The buggy will transport us to a camp in the middle of the desert where we will spend the night. After settling in, a barbecue dinner will be served, including grilled chicken, beef, vegetables, a salad buffet, and potatoes.

After dinner, we will gather by the campfire to conclude our day in the Ica desert, an ideal location for stargazing due to low light pollution.

Later, we will retreat to our tents for rest, with the opportunity to wake up early for a sunrise view over the Ica desert. Our return journey will commence between 6 am and 7 am.

Upon arrival at Huacachina Ecocamp, we will enjoy a full American breakfast as a fitting conclusion to the experience.
