Palpa Archaeological Tour
We will pick you up from your hotel in Ica at 7 am for an archaeological route through the Palpa Valley.
The first stop is the Huarango Milenario, a tree over 1000 years old. Next, we will visit the district of Rio Grande to see the Perfil del Inca, a surprising rock formation.
Continuing towards Palpa, we'll observe the Solar Clock, featuring a set of geoglyphs. Following this, we will visit Palpa's main square and the Museum of Palpa, which has various archaeological pieces from pre-Inca settlements in the valley.
Afterward, we will drive east to explore the petroglyphs of Chichictara and the geoglyphs of the Paracas Royal Family, geometric drawings comparable to the Nazca lines.
The final stop will be at the La Máquina spring, formed by a geological fault, where you will have free time for a swim and to dine at local restaurants.
We will return to Ica, arriving between 5 pm and 6 pm.
