Palpa Archaeological Tour
Pickup is at 7 am from your hotel in Ica to begin the archaeological route through the Palpa Valley.
The first stop is at the Huarango Milenario, a tree over 1000 years old. Next, we will visit the district of Rio Grande to see the Perfil del Inca, a rock formation at the foot of the Andes.
Continuing towards Palpa, we'll visit the Solar Clock, featuring lines and geoglyphs. Then, we'll enter Palpa to explore its main square and the Museum of Palpa, displaying various archaeological pieces from pre-Inca settlements.
Afterward, we drive east to view the petroglyphs of Chichictara and the geoglyphs of the Paracas Royal Family, ancient geometric drawings similar to the Nazca lines.
The final stop is at the La Máquina spring, created by a geological fault, where you'll have free time for swimming and lunch at local restaurants.
We will return to Ica, arriving between 5 pm and 6 pm.
