Erges River Hike

At 9:30 am, we will meet at the bridge of Segura, a Roman monument connecting Segura in Portugal to Alcántara in Spain, which also serves as a border between the two countries.

During the hike, we will traverse the left bank of the Erges River on the Portuguese side, exploring the gorge within the International Tagus Natural Park. This route allows us to experience the local vegetation and the tranquility of the area.

We will stop at various points along the river to appreciate the landscapes and enjoy the sounds of the water and the cool breeze. Following this, we will visit the mills to observe the river water flowing through these structures.

To conclude the experience, we will have a tasting of regional cheeses.

Approximately at 11:30 am, we will return to the starting point to conclude our hike.
