Porto Flavia Mine Guided Tour

On this guided tour of the Porto Flavia mines, you'll learn about one of the significant mining sites in southern Sardinia, with views of Masua Beach.

Tour Description

We will meet at the Porto Cauli Beach car park at the designated time and begin our journey to the Porto Flavia mine.

The tour includes a walk along Masua Beach and the old 1915 pier, located one kilometer from the mining site. Upon entering the main mine shaft, we'll walk for about an hour with a guide, who will explain the mine's impact on the local economy and facts about its construction.

During the tour, we will climb up a balcony offering views of the sea and the Sugarloaf Isle (Pan di Zucchero). This location is ideal for photography.

After completing the Porto Flavia mine tour, we will return to our starting point, concluding the tour after 2 and a half hours.
