On this guided tour of the Porto Flavia mines, you'll learn about an important mining site in southern Sardinia, with views of Masua Beach.

Tour Description

At the designated time, we'll meet in the Porto Cauli Beach car park to start our journey to the Porto Flavia mine, one of Sardinia's notable locations.

We will walk along Masua Beach and the old 1915 pier, located approximately one kilometre away from the mining site. Upon reaching the main mine shaft, the tour will last about an hour with a guide, covering the mine's impact on the local economy and construction details.

During the tour, we will climb a balcony for views of the sea, including the Sugarloaf Isle (Pan di Zucchero). This spot offers an opportunity for photos.

After completing the tour of the Porto Flavia mine, we will return to our starting point, concluding the experience after 2 and a half hours.
