Porto Flavia Mine Guided Tour

Tour Description

At the designated time, we'll meet in the Porto Cauli Beach car park to begin our journey to the Porto Flavia mine, one of the notable sites in Sardinia.

We'll walk along Masua Beach and the old 1915 pier, located just over half a mile from the mining site, before arriving at our destination. Prepare to explore this unique mining site with views of the Mediterranean.

Upon entering the main mine shaft, we'll spend about an hour with a tour guide who will explain the mine's impact on the local economy and provide facts about its construction.

Halfway through the tour, we'll climb to a balcony for views of the sea, including a close-up of Sugarloaf Isle (Pan di Zucchero). This spot is ideal for photographs.

After completing our tour of the Porto Flavia mine, we will walk back to our starting point and conclude our experience after 2 and a half hours.
