The coasts of Ilhabela are ideal for diving and history lovers. We will meet at a time of your choice at the diving school on Avenida Riachuelo to discover why this Brazilian island is a top diving destination.

After equipping ourselves with scuba diving gear and oxygen tanks, we will dive into the waters of Ilhabela, guided by a professional snorkeling instructor. We will swim among the wreckage of ships that sunk decades ago, including the Aymoré, a cargo ship that sank during a storm in 1920.

We will also find the wreckage of the English ocean liner, Velazquez, which sank with 137 crew members aboard, all of whom miraculously survived. We will observe how aquatic species, such as crustaceans and sea sponges, have inhabited the remains of these wrecks.

After 4 hours of exploring this underwater world, we will conclude the activity.
