NAUI Open Water Diving Course in Ilhabela

You can do the NAUI Open Water diving course in 4 consecutive days or split it into 2 weekends. The training includes a theoretical and practical part, each with a duration of 16 hours.

Day 1: Theory

The first day focuses on learning basic concepts and necessary knowledge for divers. You can choose between attending theory classes virtually for 4 days (4 hours per day) or in person at the dive center in Ilhabela, where it will be taught in 1 day.

Day 2: Confined Waters Practice & Test

In the morning, practice will occur in the dive center's pool in confined waters. In the afternoon, you will take a practical test to demonstrate your skills.

Days 3 & 4: Open Water Dives

On the third day, we will perform 2 dives at 59 ft (18 meters) in open water to apply what was learned. On the fourth day, 2 more dives will be conducted, and if deemed ready by the instructor, you will receive the NAUI Open Water international certificate, allowing you to dive independently anywhere in the world.
