NAUI Open Water Diving Course in Ilhabela

You can do the NAUI Open Water diving course in 4 consecutive days or split it into 2 weekends. The training includes both theoretical and practical components, each lasting 16 hours.

Day 1: Theory

The first day focuses on basic concepts necessary for a good diver. You can attend theory classes virtually for 4 days (4 hours per day) or in person at the dive center in Ilhabela in 1 day.

Day 2: Confined Waters Practice & Test

In the morning, practice will occur in the dive center's pool, followed by a practical test in the afternoon.

Days 3 & 4: Open Water Dives

On the third day, participate in 2 dives at 59 ft (18 meters) deep in open water to apply what you've learned. The fourth day includes 2 additional dives. If the instructor assesses that you are ready, you will receive the NAUI Open Water international certificate, allowing you to dive anywhere in the world independently.
