NAUI Open Water Diving Course in Ilhabela

You can do the NAUI Open Water diving course in 4 consecutive days or split it up into 2 weekends, the choice is yours! The training includes both theoretical and practical parts, with a duration of 16 hours each.

Day 1: Theory

The first day is dedicated to learning fundamental concepts essential for divers. You can attend theory classes virtually for 4 days (4 hours per day) or in person at the dive center in Ilhabela, where everything will be taught in 1 day.

Day 2: Confined Waters Practice & Test

In the morning, practice will occur in the dive center's pool during confined waters, followed by a practical test in the afternoon to demonstrate your skills.

Days 3 & 4: Open Water Dives

On the third day, you will participate in 2 dives at 59 ft (18 meters) deep in open water to apply your learning. On the fourth day, execute 2 more dives. If the instructor determines you are ready, you will receive the NAUI Open Water international certificate, enabling you to dive independently worldwide!
