Description
Between 8 and 8:40, we'll pick you up at your hotel, and at 9, we'll begin this guided tour of Ilhéus, a city famous for its beaches and its rich historical and cultural heritage. On this tour, we'll visit locations that inspired the writer Jorge Amado, including the Vesúvio bar and the Bataclan cabaret, notable from the work Gabriela, Cravo e Canela.
We'll see the Cathedral of San Sebastian, known for its neoclassical facade, and visit Jorge Amado's House of Culture to learn about his life. Our last stop will be at the mansion of Colonel Misael Tavares, recognized as the King of Cocoa, where we will discuss his significance and the value of cocoa in the region.
After four hours, we will conclude the tour and return you to your hotel.
