Nature and colonial architecture merge in a place that has a lot to offer. On this guided tour of Ilhéus, we'll explore the main attractions in the city.

Description

Between 8 and 8:40, we'll pick you up at your hotel, and at 9, we'll begin this guided tour of Ilhéus, a city known for its beaches and historical and cultural heritage.

Ilhéus inspired the writer Jorge Amado. During the tour, we'll visit locations featured in his works, including the Vesúvio bar and the Bataclan cabaret, associated with the romance Gabriela, Cravo e Canela.

We'll also see the Cathedral of San Sebastian, noting its neoclassical facade, and visit Jorge Amado's House of Culture to learn about the writer's life.

The final stop will be at the mansion of Colonel Misael Tavares, known as the King of Cocoa, where we will discuss his significance and the cocoa industry in the region.

After four hours, we'll conclude the tour by returning you to your hotel.
